When is Invincible VS coming out?

Upcoming violent fighting game Invincible VS now has a release date. The anti-hero fighter will be launched on April 30th, 2026.

Invincible VS will launch with 18 fighters on the roster, including many fan-favorites from the source material. Developers also revealed an original character during The Game Awards 2025, giving the FGC something to look forward to.

Who is Ella Mental in Invincible VS?

In true Invincible fashion, the game is pretty meta. In the trailer revealing Ella Mental, she boldly states: “You don’t know my name now, but you will once this is over.”

Characters from the roster look at each other in confusion, asking each other who she is.

After that exchange, Ella Mental shows off her playstyle, which includes the use of air, water, earth, and fire. Get it? Elements? Anyway, she looks like a strong addition to the roster, but also hints at some interesting developments to the fighting game.

The FGC was quite impressed with the visuals and details of the Ella Mental release trailer. But possibly even more exciting is what Ella’s arrival means.

This opens up Invincible VS to continue adding new heroes and villains to the roster beyond the ones in the graphic novel and show. It also means the game could have its own storyline and lore. When one fan asked if the game was going to have an “original story,” the developers liked the comment.

This is something developers have discussed since announcing the game, but nobody knew just how far they would take it. Adding in entirely original characters is beyond what many expected.

“Let me show you what the elements can do,” Ella Mental proudly states.
