OnePlus confirmed it’s working on an Ace 2 Pro smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 but has yet to reveal more details. The leakster Digital Chat Station filled us in, though, posting an image of the smartphone with a lovely silver-ish paint job.
The image also revealed there will be just a few differences from the OnePlus Ace 2, sold internationally as the OnePlus 11R.
The circular camera island, attached to the side frame, has some writings, revealing the main camera will have 50 MP 1/1.56″ sensor and OIS. Since the Ace series is technically not a flagship, it does not have the Hasselblad branding, but we do see “ULTRACMOS CAMERA” on the upper side of the circle.
This is a patented technology developed by Psemi, claiming to offer consistent shot-to-shot performance.
OnePlus Ace Pro/11R
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will have 24 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, but it’s unclear if the global version will match that.
We suspect the company might launch this phone as the OnePlus 11T around the world, given how the first Ace Pro was the 10T, but there is still a Chinese launch to be held before we can think about an international unveiling.
