Nothing’s recent market strategy has left us scratching our heads – and it’s not just us, it seems. Last week’s poll shows that most people gravitate towards other offerings from the company instead of their latest release.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite failed to convince the majority. Some will wait for reviews, a few are interested but the phone isn’t available near them – even so, most people would rather get the non-Lite Nothing Phone (3a) or pick up the CMF Phone 2 Pro.
And why wouldn’t they – Nothing’s CMF models offer awesome value for money. We see it with the CMF Headphone Pro too. It costs one-third the price of the Nothing Headphone (1) and it has great features plus a non-controversial design.
The same goes for the CMF Phone 2 Pro – it’s better than the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite and it costs less. Unless you really, really want OIS on the main cam. And if you do and you can spare some extra cash, the Nothing Phone (3a) is better than both.
Nothing is not big enough to have so much overlap in the models it sells. Sure it happens to the likes of Xiaomi, but Xiaomi unveils half a dozen new models in any given week. Nothing has 5 current models all told and it probably could have done without this one.
