Right on schedule, Oppo unveiled the F35 series in India. They’ve grown heavier compared to their predecessors, the F33 and F33 Pro, since they bring bigger batteries. The new Pro is also equipped with a larger display, an extra camera and more oomph, while the new vanilla model can stop being envious of the Pro’s selfie camera.
The Oppo F35 Pro now has a 6.78” OLED display, a 1,272 x 2,772px panel with up to 144Hz refresh rate. It renders 10-bit colors with 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. It peaks at 1,800 nits of brightness in HBM mode and is protected by AGC DT-Star D+ glass. There’s a fingerprint reader embedded under the display.
As mentioned above, the phone has an 8,000mAh battery, 1,000mAh more than the F33 series. It supports 80W SuperVOOC charging (wired only), 55W USB PPS and 44W UFCS.
The Oppo F35 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX, which is also inside the very similar Oppo K14 Plus, which launched in India last week. Anyway, the chipset is a variation on the Dimensity 7300, a 4nm (TSMC N4) chip with an octa-core CPU (4x A78 @ 2.5GHz + 4x A55 @ 2.0GHz) and a Mali-G615 GPU. The phone can be configured with 6GB or 8GB of RAM (LPDDR5X) and 128GB or 256GB of storage – and it’s the faster UFS 3.1 kind to boot (the F33 Pro used UFS 2.2).
Finally, the new camera – the Pro adds an 8MP ultra-wide module with an f/2.2 116° lens. Like before, it has a 50MP main camera with an OIS-enabled f/1.8 lens. The selfie camera is notable – it has a high-resolution 50MP sensor and an ultra-wide 100° f/2.0 lens with autofocus. Both the front and rear cameras can record 4K @ 30fps video with a dual-view recording mode. The F33 generation topped out at 1080p @ 60fps for both cameras.

Oppo F35 Pro highlights
The Oppo F35 sticks with the original screen size of 6.57” – it’s a 1,080 x 2,372px OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit colors (100% sRGB and DCI-P3). It maxes out at 1,400 nits in HBM mode and is protected by Crystal Guard glass. Like on the Pro, the fingerprint reader is below the screen.
Despite sticking with the smaller screen size, the F35 also has an 8,000mAh battery, +1,000mAh over the F33. It supports 80W SuperVOOC and UFCS, plus 55W USB PPS.
The vanilla model also has a 50MP selfie camera with an ultra-wide 100° lens with autofocus. It’s not quite the same module as on the Pro, however, as it has an f/2.1 lens. Still, the F33 only had a 16MP selfie. The main camera on the back is a 50MP module (f/1.9 lens, no OIS) and it only has a 2MP depth sensor as a companion. The phone can record 1080p @ 60fps out of the box and Oppo is promising 2.5K @ 30fps with an upcoming update.
Unlike the Pro, the F35 keeps the Dimensity 6360 MAX chipset that powered both F33 series models. Here it is paired with 6/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of slower UFS 2.2 storage (there’s no 256GB variant).
