In a rather bizarre development, Frida, the viral brand behind the breast milk-flavored Ice Cream, has now unveiled a new candy product called Boogie Bites. As the name suggests, the sweet and sour gummies come in three booger-inspired shapes and flavors. Moreover, Frida said that the nose booger-inspired gummies are designed to be like the “real thing.”
Frida drops new booger flavor candies after breast milk ice cream
Frida has unveiled what could be among the most offbeat inventions in the mainstream food industry. After their viral breast milk-flavored ice cream, which continues to be a topic of discussion, the new candy product called Boogie Bites was launched in October 2025.
Shaped like real boogers, these gummies will be sold exclusively on GoPuff for $3.99. The taste of the gummies will also try to replicate real boogers, though no real ones have been used in the making of these candies. Instead, the product contains tapioca syrup, cane sugar, pectin, and natural flavors, with fruit and vegetable juice to add color.
Boogie Bites will be available in New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, Boston, and Philadelphia, as per Frida.
As per reports, the candy was created to promote NoseFrida, the company’s nasal aspirator for babies and young children. In a post on Instagram, the brand introduced the candy, saying, “If anyone knows nose nuggs, it’s Frida. In honor of cold + flu season, we’re giving you a whole new [less gross] way to eat your boogers. Introducing Boogie Bites, the treat kids have picked for generations.”
Interestingly, this is not the only booger-flavored candy on the market. Jelly Belly’s Beanboozled jelly beans have featured the flavor and have been around since 2007.
Apart from the offbeat appeal of the flavor, the idea behind Boogie Bites is sure to make Frida viral again. While the candy may not be widely available, the news will travel far.
