How to use the Mystical Key in Crimson Desert

After helping the beggar by the inn, you will receive a Mystical Key in Crimson Desert, starting a new main quest mission. This Mystical Key is not so mystical, as you’ll use it pretty early on in the next main mission questline. When you acquire the Mystical Key, simply go under into the sewer where the beggar was sat, then rescue the noble lady at the bottom. You’ll find strange things afoot. Then, from there, you will learn a bit more about the overworld part of the game, and what to do with the Mystical key in Crimson Desert.

How to complete the Mystical Key trace

Open your inventory and locate the Shabby Wooden Key you get from the beggar. Highlight the key in your inventory and examine it. Zoom towards the tip of the key and you should reveal something about at the tip of the key. It should reveal more information and what to do next, which will take you to Hernand Castle.

Make sure to equip the Hernandian Attire, which you should have in your inventory from the quest, to enter the castle. From there, ascend the stairwells, and check you’re on the right floor near the audience chamber. Your minimap should have some clues with an arrow that you’re on the right floor.

From there, follow the doors around, until you find the corridor that has a door with the alchemy symbol on it. That will take you to the alchemist’s room inside the caste.

When inside, you’ll find a chest, and one of those golden doors will appear after interacting with it. It’s similar to the golden effects the begar and the noble had on them. It should open a portal. Walk up to that portal and enter it. Having that Mystical Key on you will allow you to access that portal and continue going through the early main story tutorial, where you’ll learn more about that beggar and what’s going on.
