Alix Wilton Regan, the new voice behind Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog’s new Lara Croft, has confirmed she has finished up recording for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis.
Posting a brief video to Instagram as she wandered down an anonymous street, Regan called the moment “big” and “emotional”.
“So, I have just wrapped on the last official session of the main game of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, which feels big and feels emotional,” Regan posted to Instagram. “I mean, this journey started in 2022, and it’s now the tenth of July 2026, so that’s a big leap.
“There will be pickups. There will be bugs to fix. But wow, what a milestone. Peace. And love. And power.”
While once slated for release in 2026, Legacy of Atlantis will now arrive next year, on 12th February. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2 and PC via Steam.
Chris recently went hands-on with Legacy of Atlantis, calling it “strangely double-A”, but not without its charm.
“I would maybe just gently temper your expectations for this one,” he wrote in Eurogamer’s preview. “Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is breezy and enjoyable enough, its new voiceover for Lara Craft is pleasantly posh, its design dappled with moments that feel lovably old-school. But a prestige, properly modern remake this is not.”
