In 2025, communication has never been more important for the enterprise.
The benefits of this practice are countless: it can tackle toxic working environments, build an inclusive company culture, and improve business relationships, among other areas.
In fact, according to Prezent CEO Rajat Misha, he’s “seen firsthand how often professionals struggle with business communication. From executives at top corporations to some of the most talented software engineers, creating impactful materials that effectively convey an idea isn’t straightforward.”
His company, Prezent, today offers a new way forward, with an AI-driven platform that rapidly produces presentation materials, understands brand guidelines and adjusts to its target audience.
Aligned to this mission, the company announced this month that executive Mike Arntz would be joining the company’s Senior Executive Board.
Said Arntz, “I’ve spent most of my career helping high-growth companies scale. I see that same kind of inflection point here. Prezent is at a pivotal stage, and the timing feels right.”
“What really excites me is the intersection of storytelling, AI, and business communication. Most of the tools we’ve been using haven’t changed much in years. It’s time for something new. Prezent isn’t just another productivity tool—it can truly transform how teams communicate ideas,” added the executive.
Insights from a SAAS veteran
Arntz’s appointment represents a big win for Prezent.
He has proven SaaS growth expertise from his role as CRO and EVP at Smartsheet, with his track record speaks for itself: building winning go-to-market teams and scaling companies through complexity.
He was also earlier a SVP at NetSuite and Group Vice President North America at Oracle.
Now, Artnz brings this wealth of experience to this rapidly growing startup. His global purview and deep expertise in the complex tech landscape will be invaluable as Prezent continues its mission to solve one of the most costly problems in business today: ineffective communication.
As AI transforms business communication, Mike’s strategic insights will accelerate the company’s growth while keeping Prezent focused on what matters most – delivering measurable value customers.

A big year for Prezent
Prezent recently raised an additional $20 million in funding, bringing their total funding to $45 million. The investment will help expand Astrid—the first-of-its-kind contextually intelligent AI tool for business presentations—into new industries and geographies to address widespread productivity issues across the enterprise market.
The AI, in combination with personalization by company, team and individuals, enables teams to create highly effective presentations that are audience-specific, brand-consistent and contextually intelligent.
With Astrid, Prezent has become a complete solution for all enterprise presentation needs, offering both “do-it-yourself” Prezent AI software and “do-it-for-you” expert services.
Arntz’s appointment marks the latest milestone in Prezent’s ambitious roadmap to transform organizational productivity and boost performance by tackling the pervasive challenges that stem from poor business communication.
