While founders know how to scale a company, many are flying blind when it comes to their most important business asset: themselves.
Entrepreneur, investor and podcast host Rohit Bhargava (Playbook Ventures, The Startup Playbook Podcast) has seen it all too often – founders neglect their health, energy, clarity and relationships, leading to quiet burnout, missed moments and the feeling that success came at the cost of something deeper.
And that’s why Bhargava created The Komo Club – “the world’s first human accelerator,” he calls it – with Cohort 2 of the 8-week program kicking off on September 15.
Cohort 2 features a speaker lineup of leaders who’ve scaled globally while learning how to lead, including former Wallabies captain Stirling Mortlock cofounder of XV Capital; philanthropist Daniel Petre, cofounder of Airtree and founder of StartGiving; Smiling Mind cofounder and chair Jane Martino; Everlab cofounder Dr. Steven Lu; Rippling’s Matt Loop; Ula cofounder Nipun Mehra and Aconex cofounder Rob Phillpot, now founding partner of Glitch Capital.
The Komo Club helps founders and other business leaders win in both business and their personal lives in terms of health, mindset, relationships, and long-term performance.
“The real value of companies isn’t realised until a decade in,” Bhargava said.
“It’s a marathon. But founders are running a 100m sprint and burning out which isn’t in their, the company, or their stakeholders’ best interests. We built Komo to fix that.”
The Komo Club takes the systems and frameworks used to scale companies and applies them to people. Bhargava’s developed a personal operating system for high performance, Komo OS, and the program includes expert-led sessions, community accountability, and personalised insights across every area of life.
The program has also partnered with Everlab to give members access to full-body diagnostics, to aid with their physical performance.
Tractor Ventures CEO and cofounder Jodie Imam was part of cohort 1 and said The Komo Club “is by far the most high quality and transformative program I have ever been involved in. The carefully curated cohort and guests bring in a new level of life performance to an already high achieving group of humans.”
The program runs September 15 – November 7, and includes weekly live sessions. For more details and to apply, see thekomoclub.com.
